Weather induced day off

After visiting Jochpass, we went down to Engtlensee, but the rain started to come in. Also thunderstorms forecast which is no time to be doing a high traverse at 2200m, so we pulled the plug and bailed out to Meiringen via Postbus. Turned out to be a good choice. Lots of rain and lightning now.

Stay tuned APR fans, tomorrow is forecast to be better and we are aiming to go over the Grosse Scheidegg into big mountain territory. We plan to do a variation that takes us to First, from where we can scoot over to Bachalpsee and then take a gondola down to Grindelwald.
